In soot-choked 19th-century London, Pastor Edgar has lost his faith. He runs on gin, bad luck, and worse decisions. When Jawbreaker Harry calls in his gambling debts, Edgar turns to grave robbing and joins the ranks of the Resurrectionists. Always at his side is his drinking buddy Alan. The towering sailor is full of ghosts, horrifying sea stories, and a desperate need for redemption. Together they descend into moral collapse, until grace finds them.
